IEA-4E Workshops to be held on 29-30 November in Stockholm

23 Oct 2018

The Connected Devices Alliance (CDA) will be contributing to two workshops on ‘Devices for Demand Flexibility’ and ‘[Network Zero] Challenge’ organized by IEA-4E on 29-30 November in Stockholm, Sweden.

The two workshops will bring together key industry and government representatives to explore the role that connected devices will play in the provision of energy services into the twenty-first century.  Topics to be discussed include:

  • What will electricity grids and energy generation/storage providers require from connected devices?
  • Are the drivers in place to ensure the transition to the new energy service paradigm?
  • How can governments encourage innovation to reduce energy used for device connectivity?

The CDA is an initiative of the Networked Devices Task Group (NDTG), one of the work streams under the 2016 G20 Energy Efficiency Leading Programme coordinated by International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC).
