IPEEC to co-host a seminar on “Energy Efficiency in Housing” in India on 27-28 February

IPEEC will co-host a seminar on “Energy Efficiency in Housing and the Implementation Framework of ECBC (Energy Conservation Building Code)” on 27-28 February 2017, in New Delhi, India, jointly with the Indian Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (MHUPA), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), the Clean Energy Solutions Center (CESC), the Building Efficiency Accelerator partnership (BEA) and the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) India.

The event will focus on policy and planning issues, norms, guidelines and rating systems, and best practices and implementation options for energy efficiency in housing. IPEEC’s Buildings Energy Efficiency Task Group (BEET) will present its new report on International Residential Building Energy Efficiency Rating Schemes (BEET5), which investigates the design, governance and management of residential energy efficiency rating schemes among IPEEC’s sixteen member countries.
