G20/CDA workshop on networked devices in March

09 Feb 2017

The Connected Devices Alliances (CDA), an initiative under the G20 Networked Devices Task Group (NDTG), will host a workshop on 21-22 March in Berlin, Germany.

The G20 NDTG is a platform for international cooperation between governments, experts and industry to develop innovative solutions to the challenge of increasing energy consumption by networked devices. The CDA, which was conceived to widen the reach to the industry sector, consists of more than 350 governments and industry participants. The CDA focuses on maximising network-enabled energy savings and minimising the energy consumption of all networks and networked devices.

The workshop will bring together participants from governments, industry and academia to shape recommendations to G20 governments and discuss the evolution of the CDA. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to engage with key government policy makers and industry representatives participating in the digital economy.
