IPEEC is pleased to announce the launch of the new Energy Efficiency Magazine for COP23, out today!

Published by Morocco’s AOB Group with the support of IPEEC, the magazine features a range of articles on energy efficiency by IPEEC, the International Energy Agency, the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency, the Alliance to Save Energy, and others, including high-level experts from national governments.

Come join IPEEC for a side event on “Financing Energy Efficiency: Opportunities, challenges and perspectives from the G20 and localities” at COP23 on 9 November 2017!

Energy efficiency represents the most sustainable, cost-effective, and accessible way for countries to meet the Paris Agreement’s ambitious climate target. Yet to truly succeed, energy efficiency requires adequate funding and a supportive policy environment that no single stakeholder group can deliver alone. To rapidly and sufficiently scale up the required levels of investment towards energy efficiency, all have a role to play: from the G20 to the local level.

At a high-level roundtable on 14 November 2017, the Energy Efficiency Finance Task Group (EEFTG) will convene G20 policy and finance community stakeholders to discuss the G20 Energy Efficiency Investment Toolkit as well as to present and share latest developments on the implementation of innovative policies, financial products and tools that enable greater deployment of energy efficiency finance.
